Welcome to the Network pages. Hopefully you're here because you want to make a difference in Doncaster's communities, by increasing participation in physical activity and sport.

The Network is committed to working with communities and each other; our approach is about building upon the strengths we have in our communities so that an active environment becomes the norm. The Network has worked together to develop and commit to the following values:

  • Communication
  • Openness and honesty
  • Teamwork
  • People-centred
  • Innovation
  • Sharing (information and resources)
  • Action-focused

We want to make sure that the Network has lots of opportunities to stay connected and work together. Have a look at the different ways that you can get involved:

Network Meetings

There are three to four meetings per year, led by Dr Rupert Suckling, Director of Public Health and Chair of the Get Doncaster Moving Board. The Network meetings provide an opportunity to coordinate borough-wide plans, meet other Network members, and share learning across organisations. To discuss how you can get involved, please complete a contact form here.

Children and Young People's Group

The Children and Young People's Group meet four to six times a year. It is a place for information sharing and planning, for organisations who provide for children and young people. To discuss how you can get involved, contact Dean Wiffen – dean.wiffen@doncaster.gov.uk / 01302 735403.
