International Women's Day - Get Involved in Rowing....

Doncaster Rowing Club Women's Team row out of Hexthorpe Park in Doncaster; they have a beautiful 3 mile stretch of the River Don, between Sprotborough Lock and Doncaster Lock.

The club welcomes females of all ages and currently cater for people aged 12 to 72 .

Training sessions take place on Tuesday and Thursday evenings. Juniors 4:30pm to 6:00, seniors 6:00pm to 8:00, and weekends (both Saturday and Sunday) seniors 8:00am to 10:00, juniors 10:00am to 12noon.

Doncaster Rowing Club's facilities cater for indoor and outdoor sessions, subject to weather conditions and river levels.

The club as a whole competes throughout the country, in events ranging from local head races and regattas, to racing on the Thames at major head races or to racing at the National water sport centre in Nottingham.

Rowing is great for an all body workout, excellent for fitness and mental and physical health. The atmosphere at the club is friendly and all inclusive. The club motto is "Rowing for All".
