October was a big month for Doncaster rugby fans, with the long-awaited Rugby League World Cup finally taking place at venues across England, including three matches right here at Doncaster's own Eco Power Stadium.

The men's teams for France, Greece, Samoa, Papua New Guinea and Wales all played matches at the Eco Power Stadium, with thousands of people coming out to show their support and enjoy the electric atmosphere live sport brings.

The city has also played host to the Samoan Rugby team, who have been out and about visiting many local schools and groups across the borough.

Where to play Rugby League in Doncaster:

• Bentley ARLFC
All players welcome, open to all abilities. There are teams from under 6's to under 15's, as well as an open age 1st and 2nd team. The club also runs 'Cubs training' sessions for reception and nursery aged children. More information: https://www.facebook.com/bentleyarlfc/

As well as the fantastic clubs listed above, who have games open to the public to watch, Doncaster is of course home to Doncaster Rugby League Club, The Dons.
