Doncaster Future Park reaches finals at the ‘Keep Britain Tidy Network Awards’

Hexthorpe Park has been shortlisted in the Keep Britain Tidy Network Awards 2025. The 'Innovation Award' recognises exceptional parks/green space that inspire local residents and visitors to enjoy and protect these valuable spaces for future generations.

The application shared the story of Hexthorpe Park and how it is evolving as a Doncaster Future Park site – particularly in terms of the range of approaches taken to engage with new audiences and create a more inclusive environment for all (for example, the interactive park trails in partnership with Enigma Rooms and the social seating space designed by a student at Doncaster College).

This is the second award Hexthorpe Park has reached the finals in in recent weeks, the first being the Green Flag 'Best of the Best' Awards, which recognize excellence in parks and green spaces, where Hexthorpe Park was runner up in the award category "Best Initiative to Engage and Increase Use of Parks by Women and Girls."

Keep Britain Tidy Network Award winners will be announced on Thursday 30th January 2025.
