Walk around Hexthorpe Park

When: Every Friday 11am-12pm

Details: Join us for a relaxed stroll around Hexthorpe Park every Friday morning at 11am.

Meet at Ivy Court Care Home every Friday at 11am and walk from there to Hexthorpe Park with a group from the care home. Members of the public are welcome to join the walk. Walks are at a very easy pace and last approx. one hour. The walks are led by Liz from Flourish, accompanied by Ivy Court staff members.

Perfect for beginners, people that find walking a struggle due to long term physical or mental health conditions or anyone that fancies some gentle morning exercise. A great reason to get out of the house, enjoy some fresh air and meet new people!

Duration: The walk takes about an hour.

Terrain: It's generally an easy walk, but some areas might be muddy in wet months. Wear comfy shoes.

What to Bring: Dress for the weather. Please note that there are no toilets at the park.
