Cantley and Bessacarr Strollers

Idle Valley Nature Reserve (2.8 mile)
Meet at the Visitors' Centre car park.
The Reserve is situated on the A638 road from Doncaster to Retford. Go via Bawtry,Ranskill, Torworth and Barnby Moor. The Reserve is sign-posted opposite the left turn down to the Visitors' Centre, where there is a car park.
This walk follows the Woodland Discovery trail (blue marker posts) and the Lake View trail (yellow marker posts) including views of woodland, the river Idle and a large lake.
Follow the path over the small bridge. At the marker post follow the blue marker to turn left into the wood and then follow the marked path to the right and then to the left. Note: The path can be very muddy after heavy rain. Turn right at the marker towards a steel gate and pass through the gate. Follow the path to return to the first marker post then follow the yellow markers to circle the large lake and return to the car park.
