Annual GDM Summit
The GDM Summit happens once a year. The most recent event took place on Friday 20th October 2023.
Over 100 guests took part in workshops linked to key Get Doncaster Moving strategy themes, to consider:
- What have we collectively done?
- What have we collectively learned?
- What shall we collectively do next?
The workshop themes were:
- Active Environments, Parks and Facilities
- Communications and Engagement
- Active Education
- Walking and Cycling
- Health and Care
- Community Led Sport, Dance and Physical Activity
- Data, Insight and Learning
The summit was also an opportunity for guests to reconnect, network, gain and share knowledge and hear from keynote speaker Ed Clancy OBE, Active Travel Commissioner for South Yorkshire.
