Network meetings
The Get Doncaster Moving Network holds quarterly meetings in venues across Doncaster, where guests share updates and make/strengthen connections.
The most recent GDM Network Meeting took place on Friday 1st March 2024 at The Ivanhoe Centre, Conisbrough.
Guests took part in two workshops during the morning, as well as having lots of opportunities for informal networking. The spotlight sessions were:
Spotlight #1: Putting inclusion at the heart of sport and physical activity (with Paul Downes, Strategic Partnership Advisor (Yorkshire and Humber), Activity Alliance). This session will look at how we can work together to make Doncaster a more inclusive place for disabled people and people with long term conditions to be active.
Spotlight #2: Developing strong partnerships (with Alex Liversidge, Project Officer, Don Catchment River Trust). This session will look at how we can develop strong partnerships that contribute to our organisational and collective objectives.
Please check back soon for information about our next network meeting.

Get Doncaster Moving Summit
Once a year, the Network gathers for a more formal event known as the 'Get Doncaster Moving Summit', where typically over 100 guests gather together to reflect on the past year and to consider what is next, in order for us all to work towards the GDM strategy and our shared vision for Doncaster.
